Description:
What better way to celebrate Earth Day than by spending time outside enjoying nature. Come explore the Outdoor Natural Play Area. Celebrate Mother Earth with many activities, including:
• Recycled craft
• Live animal interactions
• Guided nature hike at 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm for those specifically pre-registered for the hikes (to register for 4:30 hike Course#3250-2+, to register for 5:30 hike Course#3250-3+)
• Conservation vendor activities and displays. Our conservation partners that will be providing activity stations include:
Bees in the D
Clinton River Watershed Council
Friends of the Rouge
Girl Scouts
Huron River Watershed Council
Oakland County Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area
Releaf Michigan
And more!
This is a FREE event, but pre-registration is required for each person attending. Non-resident registration will open April 1, pending space.
This program will be entirely outdoors so please dress for whatever weather Mother Nature provides this day.
