The Walk WB is a fun, free program designed to encourage fitness opportunities while enjoying all the recreational parks and trails West Bloomfield has to offer.

Walks are scheduled from May to August at various locations throughout West Bloomfield and range from 2 to 3.5 miles. WB Parks Staff will be there from 6:30-7:00pm for Tuesday walks and from 8:00-8:30am for Saturday walks. During that time, you will be checked in and verify your registration. This will be done in compliance with the social distancing guidelines. Please download each walk's map ahead of time from wbparks.org/walkwb. Paper copies will not be available onsite.

On the first Tuesday of each month, the walk will be led by health experts from Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital. Walks will start promptly at 7 p.m. During the walks, experts will be available to answer questions and encourage dialogue regarding health concerns.

Gifts will be given to walkers that complete 26.2 miles (a marathon) and 51 miles to celebrate WB Parks 51st birthday.

National Trails Day on June 5th is a separate event and separate registration is required.

Names will be placed in the grand drawing (one entry for each walk). The grand prize will be a gift bag including a $250 gift card from Busch’s Fresh Food Market. The grand drawing will take place following the August 17th walk. Participants need not be present to win. Grand Prize winner must be 18 years old, a West Bloomfield resident and have participated in a minimum of five walks. Walks will be held rain or shine unless there is severe weather.
